2021 was a big year for Maryland’s cannabis industry.
The state now has roughly 150,000 patients signed up for its medical cannabis program and regulators estimated in December that industry revenue in 2021 would clear $600 million. More multi-state operators are entering the market here and adult-use recreational cannabis is expected to be a major issue in the upcoming legislative session.
