The coronavirus outbreak has seriously disrupted countless industries statewide, and Maryland’s medical cannabis market is no exception.

The Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission, which oversees the state’s licensed growers, processors and retailers, today issued new guidance suspending “deli-style” sales — when a budtender packages cannabis flower in front of a patient — and the use of “sniff jars” that allow customers to smell a strain before buying it.
