Maryland’s cannabis dispensaries raked in $7.6 million during the week of 4/20, a date widely referred to as the industry’s Black Friday.

It was a strong showing, with sales up $1.5 million over the same period last year when fewer dispensaries were open for business. But it wasn’t quite the windfall that was expected had the medical marijuana industry had been able to celebrate cannabis’ biggest holiday as it had intended.
